Deborah Irene Jones, 57, passed away peacefully of natural causes on September 16, 2025, in Joliet, Illinois. She was born on August 8, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Daryl and Gail Phillips. Deborah attended and graduated from Joliet Central High School.

Deborah lived her life with grace, strength, and joy, always turning life's lemons into lemonade. She found happiness in shopping, planting, listening to music, and spending time with her daughters, family, and friends. She was most proud of her role as a grandmother to her 14 grandchildren, who were the light of her life, along with her beloved grand-dog, Chloe. Deborah was loved by many and cherished for her vibrant spirit. She was always ready for a good game of spades, a laugh with friends, or a ride through town in her drop top, making memories that will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her devoted sister, Darylyn Phillips; her loving daughters, Tiantae Lewis, Antwanette Wright, Trishanna Logan, Tayshree Bey, and Trianna Williams; her bonus daughters, Terre Mitchem and Dominique Gil; her son-in-law, Colby Logan; and her former husband and lifelong friend, Charles Williams. She also leaves behind her 14 adoring grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and lifelong friends who will continue to honor her memory.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Gail and Daryl Phillips, and her dearest friend, Cassandra.

Her life was a gift to all who knew her, and her legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will live on through her family and friends.
