Nancy Lee Howell was born to the late Ernest Howell Sr. and Rosie Lee Howell (Lyles) on October 24, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the 6th of 12 children born to this union. Nancy confessed her faith in Christ and was baptized at a very early age and later attended Fellowship Revival Center Church on the west side of Chicago. In 1962 she married Murphy Triplett Sr. To this union added 5 children: Deborah D. Triplett (Lymas), Joyce M. Triplett (Brooks), Murphy Triplett Jr., Darryl D. Triplett, and Jeffery D. Triplett. In 1981 love found Nancy again and she married Grover Thomas. To this union added a blended family and included Ricky Wright, Tommy Wright, Corice Wright, and Derrick Wright. Nancy was a loving, devoted wife and mother. Nancy worked at Oscar Meyer on the north side of Chicago for 25 years. With this Nancy put her 5 children through Catholic school. Later in life Nancy started her own beauty Salon business and completed her cosmetology license, Nan's Variety of Beauty on the south side of Chicago. Staying true to who she was, Nancy specialized in true hair care. After retiring and selling her business, Nancy joined several of her siblings in Rochester, Indiana where she lived out the rest of her days continuing to learn new things including playing the guitar, sewing, making jewelry, studying the Bible, and gardening. Nancy went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2024 at the age of 78. Nancy leaves to cherish her memory her husband Grover Thomas, her children: Deborah Lymas (Ricky), Murphy, Darryl (Alicia), Jeffery Triplett (Ann), Tommy Wright, Corice Wright, Derrick Wright; her siblings: Cleophus Mooney (Connie), Ruthie Mcgee (Phil), Ernest Howell (Marie), Robert Howell, Johnny Howell (Dawn), Delbert Howell (Sybil), 17 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild. Along with Nancy's parents and 1 child; Joyce (Stanley), Rickey, 2 brothers; Harvey Jackson and Nadis Howell; Ernestine Worthy (Halbert), are all back together again as the broken chain is once again reassembled with the Lord.
