Born on November 17, 1964, Robert dedicated a significant chapter of his life to his career at Joliet Township High School, from where he ultimately retired after many years of dedicated service. His contributions to education and the lives of his students were emblematic of his selflessness and commitment to the betterment of others.

Robert was not just a devoted professional; he was a cherished father and grandfather, epitomizing what it means to be active and engaged in family life. He was known for his unwavering support, offering assistance whenever called upon, a testament to his caring nature. Robert loved to engage in activities such as bowling, babysitting, and playing bingo, which reflected his vibrant personality and zest for life.

The bond he shared with his family—his daughter, Coretta Broadway; brothers, Stevie (Monica) Broadway, Anthony "Tony" (Theresa) Broadway; and sisters, Marchall (Brian) Cooper and Irene Green—was profound and deeply meaningful.
