Yolanda Livsey, best known as Lonnie, was born on August 1, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, to the union of Carol Ruth Reynolds and Chatman Farland Jr., who both preceded her in death.

Young Lonnie full of energy and ready to explore the world, grew up in the earlier years of her life on the south side of Chicago. At the age of 12, she moved to Maywood, LI, with her Mother, Bonus Dad (Large), and baby brother Wesley. She graduated from Garfield Elementary School in 1973 and then attended Proviso East High School, where she met Micheal Turner and they later had a baby girl, Pascion. As a young mother, Lonnie finished high school in 1977. Later on in 1980-1988, she married Douglas Livsey and had two baby girls, Alycia and April. She was a proud mother of three girls whom she loved dearly. She also loved her Son-in-Laws Donald .Jr and Darius.

Lonnie had many jobs and later retired from Sears Watch Repair Dept

Lonnie gave her life to Christ at an early age and later became a devoted member of Nourishing Waters in Discipleship of Christ. She faithfully served, devoting numerous hours, season after season, reaching out to the community of Maywood as well as the west side of Chicago, doing what she could to help others in need.

Lonnie was also a proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, whom they all called "Nana." Her first grandchild was Dascion, whom she called Lady Day; Donald Il, Damani; Daniel, whom she called Dan the Man; Darius, whom she called Drj; Davvin, whom she called Davvi; and her last grandchild, Malia, whom she called Malia Malia. Lonnie was also blessed to see her first great-grandchild, McKenzie, whom she called Kenzie Wenzie.

Lonnie loved spending time with her family and friends. But mostly, she loved hanging with her cousin/sister Lotta and her best friend Renee. She enjoyed shopping, bowling, movies, and trying new restaurants. She loved cracking jokes and making people laugh.

On July 2, 2024, surrounded by family, she transitioned peacefully to her Heavenly Home.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughters Pascion (Don), Alycia, April (Darius); grandchildren Dascion, Donald Il, Damani, Daniel, Darius R,. Davvin, Malia; great-grandchild McKenzie; sister Pammy; brothers Chatman Il (Tamara), Timothy, Andrew, Wesley(Yvette); a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
